Requisites:
Aims: This unit will introduce you to concepts of data analysis using statistics and forecasting techniques to achieve the best possible estimates for unknown parameters such as customer demand.

Learning Outcomes:
* Make managerial conclusions about a set of given data using statistical methods [CILO:K1]
* Understand the uncertainties associated with forecasting [CILO:K3]
* Analyse and interpret the patterns in a set of given data [CILO:K5, P4]
* Estimate the future observations of data using the trends identified [CILO:I1]
* Use software for statistical analysis and forecasting [CILO:P2]
* Prepare business reports to present the results of a forecasting model to a non-technical audience [CILO:I5, I6]
