Aims: | The aims of this unit are:
* To provide an understanding of the principles and usefulness of reflective practice for trainees and professional forensic psychologists. * To provide a critical understanding of the forensic psychological theories and evidence relevant to advice, training and consultancy * To provide knowledge and appreciation of the ethical principles and practices of forensic psychology. |
Learning Outcomes: | After completing this unit students will be able to:
* Demonstrate an understanding of the principles and utility of reflective practice for their development as trainee and professional forensic psychologists. * Demonstrate an understanding of the forensic psychological theories and practice relating to advice, training and consultancy * Demonstrate the knowledge and skills to enable students to work within a range of settings and contexts relevant to forensic psychology. * Develop an appreciation of the ethical principles and practices within professional forensic settings. |
