Industrial and special gases

We order BOC Industrial and Special Gases and manage their safe storage in the 4W Gas Cylinder Stores.

Gas delivery times can vary depending on availability and the complexity of the gas mix. Delivery time can vary from next day to 3 weeks.

When to place your order to hire products

To hire chairs, tables and poster boards we need at least 48 hours notice.

We may be able to help you within a shorter notice period but it depends on the time of year and number of events taking place.

Hire chairs

We have a total of 500 chairs available for you to hire. Only 100 of these are matching.

Chairs cost 25p each a day to hire.

Hire trestle tables

You can hire trestle tables at a cost of £2.50 per table, per day.

Tables are six feet by two feet.

Hire poster boards

You can hire poster boards and notice boards using Agresso.

They are available in sets of two panels and four panels.

A two panel set is £4.50 per day (product code P-XRA-303).

A four panel set is £9 per day (product code P-XRA-304).

Each panel is 180.3 cm high by 91.4 cm wide.

Using the poster boards

• make sure you use Velcro fasteners to attach items to the boards
• do not use pins
• do not separate individual boards from each other, as this will cause them to break
• do not use poster boards anywhere outside

Any damage to boards will be charged to you or your department.

Hire swing boards

You can order swing boards at a cost of 25p per board per day.

To make a booking, please raise an Agresso order using the supplier code 80007 and product code P-XRA-302 giving the following information:

• date
• location
• number of swing boards required
• contact details

We ask that you give plenty of notice as there can be a high demand for swing boards at certain points throughout the year, such as open days.
