Venturers Vs Yealm (with Broughton Gifford), Saturday June 17th

This was a Broughton Gifford match but with agreed support from Venturers. Four Venturers who do not play regularly for Broughton Gifford turned out. Jack took two wickets in consecutive balls and was then taken off and never got the chance to try for his hat-trick; but he made 52 not out, completed with the four that won the match. Gregory got three cheap wickets. Bruce bowled well with no reward, but brought off an efficient run-out. Kapil caught a catch of a type that several others dropped, and made 39.
