How to use these forms If you are a full time member of academic staff (including teaching-only staff) who wishes to request an exemption from teaching during certain hours of the week, for the 2024/25 timetable, you should complete the Form 1 (updated form now available March 2024). When you have completed the form, please submit it to your Head of Department.

If you are a part-time member of academic staff (including teaching-only staff), a staff member with a defined part-time hours contract or have current flexible working arrangements and you want to ensure that teaching hours are only scheduled in your defined hours, you should complete Form 2. When you have completed the form, please submit it to your Head of Department.
