The British Council is calling for inspirational stories of impact by international alumni who studied in the UK for the next round of Study UK Alumni Awards.

Now in its 11th year, the awards celebrate international leaders who have leveraged their UK education to make significant contributions to their communities, industries and countries.

Applicants can apply under the following award categories: Business and Innovation; Culture and Creativity; Science and Sustainability; and Social Action.

Judges will assess applications on the extent to which they demonstrate impact, UK influence, media traction, potential to influence and inspire, and quality of application.

Alumni who reach the finals benefit from increased PR and press opportunities, which raises their profile and shares their success with international audiences.

In March 2024, University of Bath alumnus Minh Phuc Nguyen became the winner of the Study UK Alumni Award for Culture and Creativity in Vietnam for using his architecture studies to create a positive impact in his community and industry.

Applications close on the 21 October 2024 and are open to international alumni currently living outside the UK who studied in the UK within the last 15 years. You can find more about how to apply on the British Council website.
