Generative Artificial intelligence (GenAI) has the potential to transform how we work, learn, and create, but are you using it to its full potential? The new hands-on GenAI workshops being offered by the Skills Centre go beyond basic prompts and output-focus to help you develop a healthy and bounded relationship with GenAI through reflection and a principled personal approach.
There are two new workshops now available to book, and both are running online and in-person.
The first focuses on 'Practical Approaches to GenAI and Critical Thinking' and will help you develop:
- An understanding of the boundaries of GenAI
- Your own framework for using GenAI
- Practice that fosters a meaningful and effective skill set
The second looks at 'Practical Approaches to GenAI and Understanding Bias in Image Generation', and by the end of this workshop you will have:
- Developed a greater awareness of how bias is present in GenAI images
- Reflected on how to identify such biases
- Explored how to integrate GenAI into your own critical academic practice
