Did you know, on average commuting accounts for 4-5% of the University of Bath’s total carbon footprint? This is a significant area where both staff and students can make a real impact on our road to net zero by 2040. Changing how you travel can help create a happier and healthier lifestyle for you and the planet.
The positive impact of getting outdoors is increasingly recognised. Whether its walking, wheeling or scooting, making the shift to an active commute can boost your wellbeing, increase fitness and save you money. We understand that not everyone will be able to actively travel to work, but for those who can, the University is committed to supporting you with resources and facilities to make the journey accessible and achievable.
