Campus Services is delighted to announce that the University has won the Sustainability Award as this year's U Dine awards.
The annual awards took place at Loughborough University, with the Sustainability category sponsored by NUS Charity.
Campus Services put forwards the Sustainable Food Commitment for the award, which was launched in 2022 to help address the environmental impact of the food we eat.
The University was recognised for the hard work that has gone into the commitment and the achievements so far.
Kevin McCormick, Head of Campus Services Commercial Operations, says:
"We are delighted to win at this year's U Dine awards, especially in the Sustainability category. The University is incredibly committed to sustainability and climate change, so to have our efforts and successes around sustainable food recognised is very rewarding for all involved. We strive to continue making positive change and progress with the commitment further in the future."
