Easter break switch off
Switch off your non-essential equipment and lights this Easter break and help tackle the climate crisis and save money.
The simple step of switching off can add up to make a big difference in cost savings and environmental impact. It is our collective responsibility to take meaningful action in response to the climate emergency. Reducing energy consumption through switching off non-essential electricals and lights across campus is a shared opportunity across our community to make a real impact.
- if we collectively switch off over the Easter break the University could save approximately £92,000 and 135tCO₂e over the 5 day closure
- this is equivalent in carbon to flying around the world 15 times!
- share a pledge on how you will save energy this break and be in the chance of winning a £20 Bath Gift Voucher (one for students and one for staff)
