Life in Bath
Living in Bath means living in a safe, vibrant, and historic city with a friendly atmosphere and a welcoming community.
Bath is a double-nominated UNESCO World Heritage Site, both as one of the Great Spa Towns of Europe and thanks to its Roman heritage and Georgian architecture.
There are lots of historic places to visit around the city and, because of its cultural contributions, TIME magazine listed Bath as one of the World’s Greatest Places 2021, making it one of only three UK cities to make the list.

Our prestigious scholarships recognise and reward academic excellence and can help you pay for your tuition at Bath.
If you show outstanding academic achievement when you apply to Bath, you could be offered one of our scholarships for international students.
You could be awarded:
- a first-year tuition fee waiver worth up to £2,000 through the Chancellor’s Scholarship
- a first-year tuition fee waiver worth up to £6,000 through the International Baccalaureate 50th Anniversary Scholarship
