Staff Recognition Awards

The Staff Recognition Awards recognise the University's Professional Services and Support staff who have demonstrated excellence in their work.

The Staff Recognition Awards are a chance for both staff and students to nominate individual members or teams from our Professional Services and Support teams. The awards recognise those who have shown excellence in their work and contributed to the broader life of the University.

Award categories

The awards are allocated into several categories.


You can nominate individuals and teams for awards in the following categories:

  • Enhancing the Student Experience
  • Community and Inclusion
  • Manager/Leader of the Year
  • Supporting Colleagues
  • NEW: Supporting Research
  • NEW: Innovative Use of Digital Tools

Award winners

An event will be held to celebrate and award the winners.


There will be a celebratory event and Awards Ceremony where the winners will be presented with their awards and certificates by the Vice-Chancellor on 1st July 2025, 2.00pm − 4.30pm


Process

Nominations process and deadlines.


  • 3rd March – Nominations open
  • 4th April – Entries close
  • May/June 2025 – Panel meet and those nominated are contacted via email
  • 1st July 2025 – Recognition event and awards ceremony
