Study at our Electrochemistry Summer and Winter Schools

Our Summer and Winter Schools will help you develop your expertise in electrochemistry. Methods covered are relevant to academic and industrial research.

Summer and Winter Schools

Places on the July 2024 Impedance Spectroscopy Summer School have now SOLD OUT. Booking for the 2025 Winter School are open NOW.

Our Electrochemistry Summer and Winter Schools will introduce you to electrochemistry. We run the courses in collaboration with the University of Bristol as a mixture of lectures and intensive small group lab teaching. Our course is primarily aimed at PhD students wishing to gain a foundation of knowledge in the subject, however all are welcome.

We start by going over the basic theory and techniques of electrochemistry and then move onto looking at a wide range of different electrochemical measurements and how to interpret them.

Our Summer School focuses on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, whilst our Winter School is more generalised, looking at a wider range of techniques in electrochemistry.

See the flyers for our 2025 Electrochemistry Winter and Summer Schools.
