Aims & Learning Objectives:
To provide an introduction to everyday French.
On completion of this unit students will be able to cope at a basic level in a French-speaking environment, with the emphasis on oral/aural communication and reading.
Content:
Initial emphasis will be placed on speaking, listening and reading. As vocabulary as acquired more attention will be given to grammar. Writing tasks of a relevant and appropriate nature will be incorporated,
Audio and video laboratories are available to augment classroom work.
