Content:
This unit will look at action research as a tool to support decision-making and problem solving in the workplace. Action research provides practitioners interested in improving their practice with a base through linking theory and practice. Students will carry out a work based research project. Students will consider analytical techniques, information handling, and communication in the context of the institution or organisation. Students will explore aspects and modes of effective communication, continuous improvement, and involving and motivating team members.
