![]() | Aims: The aim of the module will be to develop transferable skills in * rigging for animation * graphic design * storyboard planning * biped animation * animation to game engine requirements These transferable skills, developed within a games modelling application, are applicable to a range of creative and visual applications. Learning Outcomes: On completion of the unit the student should be able to: * Apply bones to a mesh in order to produce rigged models ready for animation * Plan for the production of animated outcomes using a variety of graphic presentation methods * Animate biped skeletons based on varying motion cycles * Import and implement animated elements within game engines. Skills: Practical skills (T and F) * Modelling skills * Level design skills Personal skills (F and A) * Time management * Personal organisation * Problem solving Communication skills (F and A) * Demonstrations * Working in a team.
