Description: | Aims: This unit provides the students with an opportunity to examine the aims of injury prevention and rehabilitation, and the body¿s reactions to injuries. Emergency first aid and safety requirements for coaching different populations will also be a key focus in the unit. Learning Outcomes: At the end of this unit students will be able to: * Identify and outline the safety needs for coaching different populations; * Identify and outline emergency first aid; * Identify and outline the aims of injury prevention and rehabilitation; * Identify and outline methods of treatment available.
