Description: | Aims: The aim of the module will be to develop transferable skills in: * games asset design * 3D texture mapping * graphic design * concept planning * 3D modelling for games * game level creation These transferable skills, developed within a games modelling application, are applicable to a range of creative and visual applications. Learning Outcomes: On completion of the unit the student should be able to: * Understand the limitations of 3D game engines; * Design and develop a game prototype using suitable 3D games assets and level creation software; * Analyse game components to develop knowledge of asset pipelines; * Demonstrate environment prototype.
