Description: | Aims: The aim of the module will be to: * Investigate historical hardware and software developments for computer games; * Look at and discuss the changes in games development processes through industry generations; * Use game development pre production processes to design a prototype for a given system. Learning Outcomes: The learner should be able to: * Understand computer hardware components and specifications for games; * Describe games development processes; * Design and evaluate game concepts for a given video games system; * Create design concepts and documentation for game prototypes.
