Description: | Aims: This unit aims to provide a clear framework and context for safe, ethical and accountable practice. The Unit also provides a framework for teamwork, with an emphasis on communication. Learning Outcomes: Having completed this Unit the student will be able to: * Reflect on the process of induction into the workplace. * Understand and reflect on the purpose of supervision in the placement agency and the student's role in the supervisory process. * Work effectively as a team member, both by contributing to the team and using team members as a resource. * Demonstrate growing personal awareness and development to ensure best practice and safeguard one's own physical and emotional health while working in the addictions field.
