Description: | Aims: The aim of this unit is to provide students the opportunity to further engage with professional learning as a lifelong endeavour. It allows for practical experience in related fields. Learning Outcomes: On completion of this unit students should: * be able to further understand the stages involved in professional induction and professional development within sport, physical activity and health professions; * have experienced a variety of professional practices and concerns they can utilise through their degree programme; * furthered their understanding of potential career pathways and how they can utilise knowledges within the degree programme to aid in developing on such pathways. Skills: * Read and synthesise information about a complex subject F * Organise information coherently, selecting a form and style of writing appropriate to complex subject matter T/F * The ability to apply critical reasoning through independent thought and judgement T/F/A * The ability to interact effectively with others in order to work towards a common outcome. F * Written communication T/A * Problem solving skills. T/F/A * Ability to apply theory into practice. T/F/A * Ability to produce work to agreed specifications and deadlines. A Content: This is a practical unit in which students will independently undertake professional experiences.
