This unit aims to be a crucial conduit in layering theoretically bound praxis for those wishing to pursue careers in teaching and coaching. Learning Outcomes: * To apply a wide range of pedagogical interventions appropriate and applicable to a various range of contexts. * To evaluate the implications of pedagogical engagement in relation to teaching and coaching. * A framework for study will strongly relate to the synthesis of a 'case-study' that will allow students to critically examine a range of pedagogical issues informing their academic and professional practice. The students will critically evaluate their chosen pedagogical approaches and experiences through drawing on a compendium of theories, paradigms and concepts to further their understanding of working with children and young people in the field of sport.
