Description: | Aims: To perform an individual research project, including data collection, analysis, interpretation and dissemination in order to assess an original hypothesis or research question. Learning Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will be able to: * Demonstrate specialist knowledge and critical awareness of current problems in order to provide new insights in their chosen area of sport and exercise science * Plan data collection, collect data and appropriately analyse it * Synthesise research data and disseminate research findings on oral and written format * Defend their project work in a viva-voce examination.
