Description: | Aims: Develop and extend relevant skills and knowledge; Relate International Management theory to experience gained and evaluate its value in a practical context; Analyse a practical management problem. Learning Outcomes: Demonstrate ability to integrate theory from academic studies with practical experience in an international environment; Performance of specialist tasks within an international managerial setting; Reflect on the personal objectives set and critically evaluate achievements from placement Skills: Develop key skills relevant for the global workplace both on placement/exchange and after graduation, e.g. team-building, presenting, report-writing; Develop personal skills related to gaining employment, e.g. CV writing, interview technique etc.; Acquire practical professional skills and chosen industry-related knowledge Content: Pre-placement preparation; Total minimum 39 weeks in an approved organisation, adhering to the Code of Practice provided by the Placements Office; Placement Assignment. |
