![]() | Aims: To enable participants to conduct appropriate research into their own practice in order to enhance student learning, and to allow participants to demonstrate an holistic approach to learning and teaching, as required for Academic Professionals. Learning Outcomes: On Successful completion of this unit, participants will have demonstrated: * The ability to create and articulate relevant activities of research, evaluation and/or innovation of learning & teaching practice within appropriate theoretical frameworks. * A critical evaluation of the impact of their findings for broader dissemination. * The requirements for the Academic Professional Apprenticeship Standard (APAS) assessment plan, relevant to staff on teaching-only contracts. Skills: * Finding and using education literature, education research methods, writing education research papers * Skills in the Academic Professional Apprenticeship Standard (APAS) assessment plan, relevant to staff on teaching-only contracts. Content: Independent research into participant's own teaching. |
