![]() | Aims: This element of the MBA is designed to complement the academic units by giving students the additional personal skills they require to succeed in today's complex professional environment. It is unassessed, and offered as an adjunct day to each taught unit. Learning Outcomes: Successful completion of this unit will enable participants to: * Develop increased self-awareness * Work successfully with others in international environments * Develop career competencies and strategies. * Apply design thinking as appropriate * Run successful projects. Skills: Interpersonal skills Career development. Content: This unit will be delivered via workshops and will address the following topics: * Communication * Developing self-awareness at work (using MBTI or similar tool) * Harnessing ambition * Career management * Coaching * Project management * Managing conflict * Working in cross cultural teams. |
