Description: | Aims: Develop and extend relevant skills and knowledge; Relate management & marketing theory to experience gained and evaluate its value in a practical context; Show an understanding of working in a marketing environment. Learning Outcomes: Demonstrate ability to integrate theory from academic studies with practical experience; Performance of specialist tasks within a marketing/managerial setting; Reflect on the personal objectives set and critically evaluate achievements from placement. Skills: Develop key skills relevant for the workplace both on placement and after graduation, e.g. team-building, presenting, report-writing; Develop personal skills related to gaining employment, e.g. CV writing, interview technique etc.; Acquire practical professional skills and chosen industry-related knowledge. Content: Pre-placement preparation; minimum 39 working weeks industrial placement adhering to the Code of Practice provided by the Placements Office; Placement Assignment. |
