Aims: | The aim of this unit is to allow the student to undertake a structured piece of library-based research, and to present the findings in an extended written form. |

Content: | The student will undertake this unit using the facilities of the placement provider, and with the advice and support of the placement supervisor. The subject of the dissertation will reflect the research activities of the placement, but may involve technological developments or therapeutic opportunities within a given area of pharmacological interest. |
