Learning Outcomes: By the end of the Unit, you will be able to:
1. integrate design and professional skills in the workplace
2. critically reflect on the host practice.


Synopsis: Gain experience of employment in architectural practice, or in other activities that are related to the academic and professional nature of the architecture course. You will also complete a practice report, integrating your design and professional skills and enabling you to reflect on developing professional relationships within architectural contexts.

Content: Students will be visited (physically or remotely) by a placements tutor to discuss the experience in practice. An Alternative to Placement task will be set for those who are unable to obtain a placement position.
