On successful completion of this unit students will be able to:
* Critically appraise a range of evidence sources appropriate to football medicine practice * Design and deliver football medicine interventions for challenging and complex cases based on sound scientific rationales and clinical reasoning * Adapt clinical practice to appropriately manage cases across a range of football settings * Critically evaluate the use of evidence to extend the boundaries of clinical practice. |
Aims: | The aim of this unit is to develop advanced understanding of performance and health management within the football environment. It will equip students to appropriately direct the medical care of players at various competitive levels. |
