On completion of this unit, you will be able to:
1. Apply engineering or scientific principles to automotive products and technologies to calculate the performance of full vehicle systems and individual sub-systems 2. Tackle complex open-ended engineering or technology problems relating to automotive products or systems 3. Recognise and enable responsible and sustainable engineering or technology solutions 4. Work autonomously to plan, implement and evaluate an independent piece of work or research 5. Communicate complex information clearly and effectively to the target audience. |
Synopsis: | You will undertake a substantial research or engineering project related to the automotive sector, and responding to the importance of sustainable mobility.
You will work independently under the supervision of a lead supervisor and assessor. The nature of the project may be experimental or simulation. |
