Synopsis: | Develop the skills needed to take a strong implementation approach to zero-carbon initiatives, including project management, risk management, governance and reporting. You'll develop your understanding of project management in a zero-carbon context and practise using these techniques to help mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change. |
Content: | Models of project management.
Getting a project started; business case, sponsorship and governance, outcomes and objectives.
The workings of a project; lifecycle and stages, planning, scope, estimation, cost and scheduling.
Keeping work on track; dealing with risks/issues, uncertainty/change, communication/reporting.
Sustaining the outcome; reinforcement, closure and handover. |
