Content: | The overarching aim of this unit is to allow students to develop a critical and reflexive understanding of the research process and practice particularly in relation to qualitative data. The unit equips students with the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to undertake qualitative data collection, analysis, as well as synthesis and presentation of research findings. The unit takes students through all typical stages involved in designing and carrying out research involving quantitative data. We start off with formulating research questions and end with the interpretation of research findings.
