Synopsis: Increase your understanding of economic development from a macroeconomic perspective. Youll learn about the historical, theoretical and empirical factors of economic development. This will allow you to assess different explanations for global variation in living standards, with particular reference to low and middle income countries of Latin America, Asia and Africa.
