Requisites:
Learning Outcomes: On successful completion of the unit, the student should be able to demonstrate the ability to carry out a literature review, plan a program of activity, and organise materials, equipment and facilities as required. The successful student will be able to demonstrate an ability to carry out and report on a small research project.


Synopsis: To assess the ability of students for original and individual thought and application to a specific project/ programme of work within the field of structural and architectural engineering.

Content: Writing a literature review.
Data gathering and critical analysis.
Structuring a thesis.
