Learning Outcomes: |
On successful completion of the unit, you will be able to:
- Apply engineering principles to analyse the behaviour of transport infrastructure systems and their components.(K1,K3)
- Identify civil infrastructure solutions appropriate to the needs and constraints of its direct users and wider society using knowledge from multiple disciplines. (K2, I3)
- Evaluate implications of engineering decision making on the safe and sustainable design of infrastructure systems (K4, PT2)
- Integrate your knowledge of infrastructure design and construction in an unfamiliar design context and reflect upon your design choices as a team. (PT4, I3, PT5)
- Communicate complex information effectively using a variety of methods to specialist and non-specialist audiences. (PT2)
|
