* Demonstrate detailed knowledge and understanding of the technical process that is engineering design. * Demonstrate detailed knowledge and understanding of the commercial aspects of engineering. * Work in a multi-disciplinary team. * Develop a business plan. |
Aims: | To give each student the experience of real engineering design situation as part of a group.
This Unit builds on the evaluation stage, leading to a detailed design that takes into account both engineering and business aspects. To present these results in written and oral form and to practising engineers at an exhibition. |
