Learning Outcomes: By the end of this unit, the student should be able to: Assess decisions in corporate finance, such as the capital structure and dividend policy Analyse investment decisions using advanced technique like real options Evaluate the pricing of derivatives Discuss the relevance of interest rate models in the pricing of fixed income derivatives


Synopsis: Develop the knowledge of key financial concepts you gained during the 'Financial Economics' unit. You'll learn about how companies make decisions to finance their activities and pay profits out to shareholders, as well as more advanced techniques to assess investment decisions using real options. You'll also enhance your understanding of asset pricing by studying derivatives and fixed income securities.
