Synopsis: | Develop an understanding of the terminology and functions of English law in different contexts through real-world case studies and examples.
You'll explore topics such as data protection, which will inform your practice as an interpreter or translator.

terminology and functions of the law, court structure and personnel, legal objectives and remedies
contract law, including the essential features of a contract, terms, consumer legislation and termination
tort law, including defamation law, the law of negligence, trespass and nuisance law
employment law and data protection
