  • understand and use appropriately business terms and legal terminology in the target language

Synopsis: Learn about the business and legal environment that firms operate in. You'll focus on French-speaking countries. Working primarily with case studies, you will examine how different economic factors - including firms, trade unions and state bodies - interact. You'll study topics such as globalisation, migration and the environment. You will also develop the vocabulary to confidently write and speak about the business environment.

Content: Historical overview of the industrial and economic environment / the principles of the legal system/ stakeholders in the economy/ challenges facing companies in the 21st century.
