Synopsis: Advance your linguistic development by continuing to refine your language skills through exposure to authentic materials chosen to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in your chosen country for your year abroad. A wide range of topics and tasks from practical aspects to political, cultural, and social issues will be covered. Communication in all its aspects is at the core of the unit, covering intercultural challenges, social, political, and cultural topics and textual forms

Content: Written language:
* Selected advanced grammar points, essay writing techniques, summary and creative writing, CV and cover letters. Spoken language:
* Audio-visual material, presentations, debates, role plays, conversation, interview techniques.
