About the products
The products are supplied by Time of the Month (TOTM), a certified B Corporation whose ethos fits well with the University’s commitment to sustainability.
The ethical and sustainable period care products are:
- made with certified organic cotton - grown without toxic, synthetic pesticides and using sustainable farming methods. Organic cotton also produces fewer greenhouse gases and uses less water and energy
- designed to reduce waste, with no plastic packaging or applicators - to help reduce the 200,000 tonnes of waste generated every year by menstrual products in the UK
- trademarked vegan - free from animal ingredients since 1990
TOTM also supports charities such as Endometriosis UK and In Kind Direct, who deliver essential products to those in need.
