As part of your induction process, the Research Governance and Compliance Team would like to invite you to attend an induction session specifically for Research Ethics Committee lay members. You have the option to attend in person or via Teams. Should you be unfamiliar with the campus, you will find CB3.6 in the Chancellors’ Building here

The session will cover the following topics:

• Introductions and shared experiences
• About the University of Bath
• Research Governance at Bath
• Role of the lay member and types of lay members at Bath (expressing a view)
  
• Legal standing
• Testimonies from existing lay members

This event will be an in-person event but will also be available on Teams. Should you be attending in person, the training will take place in the Chancellors Building CB3.6
