School scholarships
We have over 50 scholarships of varying amounts available to offer holders from the UK, Europe and Overseas.
Master’s Worldwide Scholarships
Up to 15 Worldwide scholarships worth £5,000 each towards successful applicants' tuition fees.
Scholarship for Academic Excellence
There are up to 15 scholarships worth £10,000 each towards successful applicant’s tuition fees.
Scholarship for Outstanding Individual
There are up to 15 scholarships worth £10,000 each towards successful applicant’s tuition fees.
Master’s Scholarship for Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan and Vietnam
Up to 16 scholarships worth £15,000 each towards successful applicants' tuition fees. To be considered for one of these scholarships you must:
- meet the eligibility criteria
- have studied your undergraduate degree and live in one of the named countries at the time of application
Master’s Scholarship for France, Italy, Germany, Greece, Portugal and Spain
Up to ten scholarships worth £10,000 each towards successful applicants' tuition fees. To be considered for one of these scholarships you must:
- meet the eligibility criteria
- have studied your undergraduate degree and live in one of the named countries at the time of application
Access Master’s UK Scholarship
Up to five scholarships worth £10,000 each towards successful applicant’s tuition fees. To be considered for one of these scholarships you must:
- meet the eligibility criteria
- have studied your undergraduate degree in the UK and live in the UK at the time of application
Alumni Excellence Scholarship
Five scholarships worth an extra 10% tuition fee discount each towards successful applicants' tuition fees. The extra discount will be applied after the standard Bath Alumni 10% alumni discount.
To be considered for one of these scholarships you must:
- meet the eligibility criteria
- be on track for or be awarded a first-class degree from Bath with at least 70.00%
Eligibility
If you wish to be considered for one the School of Management Taught Postgraduate full-time Master's Scholarships, you must have:
- received an offer to study one of our Taught Postgraduate Master’s courses in the School of Management for the entry year 2025/26
- accepted your offer
- paid your deposit within the four-week deadline as stated on your offer letter or by the scholarship decision date, whichever is earlier
- applied for a scholarship within one of the scholarship application deadlines
If you have not done so, by the date of the scholarship decision you cannot be awarded any of the scholarships outlined below. If we award you a scholarship, the money will be taken off your tuition fee. You do not have to pay it back.

Discretionary Scholarship
Admissions for MSc full-time courses 2025/26 in the School of Management, from time to time may apply a discretionary scholarship at the time of offer to new applicants deemed to be demonstrating high level entry requirements and exceptional application for the course applied for. This award allocation is discretionary and may not be allocated to all applicants. If you are awarded a discretionary scholarship, the details will be included at the time of offer. The discretionary scholarship is applied as a tuition fee waiver up to the value of £5,000.
If you meet the entry requirements for admission for one of our full-time Masters in the School of Management 2025/26 and you are a new applicant who has studied and lives in one of the named countries, you will be allocated a discretionary scholarship at the time of offer to the value of £5,000 tuition fee waiver.

Other scholarships
GREAT Scholarships 2025
Alongside the British Council and the GREAT Britain campaign, the University is offering five £10,000 scholarships to master’s students from China, India, Mexico, Italy and Turkey studying our full-time taught courses.
Funding available:
- 1 x £10,000 scholarship for students from China
- 1 x £10,000 scholarship for students from India
- 1 x £10,000 scholarship for students from Mexico
- 1 x £10,000 scholarship for students from Italy
- 1 x £10,000 scholarship for students from Turkey

Bath India Master’s Scholarship
Up to eight scholarships worth £5,000 each towards successful applicants’ tuition fees.
To be considered for one of these scholarships you must:
- meet the eligibility criteria
- be a permanent resident in India with an overseas tuition fee status

This scholarship is open to graduates of nominated Hong Kong universities who hold an offer to study a master’s course with us.

Postgraduate master’s loans
Getting a postgraduate master’s loan can support you to manage the costs of studying. You can use your loan in different ways, depending on where you normally live (England, Wales, Northern Ireland or Scotland).
You don’t have to start repaying your loan until you’ve finished your course and started working.

Funding and loans for US students studying in the UK
American students can apply for US government or private education loans to help towards funding their studies at the University of Bath.
