Survey results
Thank you for completing the recent Work and Wellbeing survey. These are the results of the core questions in the Work and Wellbeing Survey run in June 2024. The report outlines the headline results. The response rate for the survey was 838 (22%).
Summary
Carried out between the 18 June and 2 July 2024, this survey revisited a number of topics, including wellbeing, culture and inclusion, staff development and our University Strategy. These results will be reported separately by the relevant survey owner.
The profile of respondents continued to reflect previous patterns with a higher proportion of women and MSA staff participating. Less E&R staff took part after the all time high in November 2023.

ONS4 Wellbeing questions

The graph shows the University average increasing for the June survey to 7 on the scale. The University linear trend line displays a slight upwards trend for responses to this question over time. National data is aligned with the University data for June, displaying a slight upwards trend.

The graph shows the University average increasing for the June survey towards 7.5 on the scale. The University linear trend line displays a slight upwards trend for responses to this question over time. National data is slightly lower than the University data for June, displaying a plateau trend.

The graph shows the University average decreasing overall, and plateauing for the June survey. The University linear trend line displays a downwards trend for responses to this question over time. National data is lower than the University data for June, displaying a downwards trend for June.
Summary
In the latest survey (June 2024), ONS4 wellbeing indicators saw some improvement, compared to the previous survey (March 2024).
This may be due to seasonal factors but may also be due to the make-up of the sample, with a higher response rate from women and from the MSA job family which tend to show higher levels of engagement.

Summary
- Sense of community, pride to be working at the University and work-life balance have increased since the previous survey (March 2024)
Management satisfaction questions
