Tuition fees for online MSc courses starting in 2025

The tuition fees you must pay if you are starting an online MSc course in the 2025 calendar year.

Our online MSc courses start in:

  • January
  • April or May
  • August or September

University fees are paid in line with the course units. You need to pay for each unit before it begins.

The University reviews fees on an annual basis so tuition fees are liable to increase each January. You should budget for an increase of up to a maximum of 8% each year.

Dissertation and project unit fees

The dissertation or project unit for MSc Applied Economics (Banking & Financial Markets) is 40 credits (four times the fee for a 10-credit unit). For all other MSc courses, the dissertation or project unit is 60 credits (six times the fee for a 10-credit unit).

You need to pay the fee for your dissertation or project in two equal instalments. These payments are due:

  • seven days before the scheduled start date of the unit
  • approximately eight weeks later for the second instalment

Qualifying credits

To qualify for:

  • an MSc award you will be required to achieve a total of 180 credits
  • a PG Diploma award you will be required to achieve a total of 120 credits
  • a PG Certificate award you will be required to achieve a total of 60 credits
