Winter School units provide an excellent opportunity for you to learn in a virtual environment while working towards your Doctor of Education (EdD) qualification.
By participating in Winter School units, you can:
- exchange ideas with other educators from all around the world
- meet staff and students from our Department of Education virtually
If this is your first EdD unit, you will also receive an introduction to the course.
During directed learning units, on a weekly basis you will engage with literature sources identified by tutors, and participate in online discussion via a Moodle forum. In addition, you will be expected to engage in a weekly ‘real-time’ seminar, which will be organised to take into account the time zones of all involved.
