How to book core research facility equipment
All of our facility equipment is booked using a dedicated booking system, ULab.
To book our facility equipment:
- Make sure you have spoken with our facility teams to understand the training and health and safety requirements for equipment use.
- Obtain appropriate consent on which project code you have authorisation to use for booking this equipment. Please contact the ULab team at ULab@bath.ac.uk to add a project code to the system.
- Log in to the ULab service. If this is your first time using ULab, you will need to register for an account.
- Book your equipment using your project code within ULab at a time that's convenient to you. Bookings may require approval from our technical experts.
- Once you're set up on ULab, you can grant access for any student or colleague to use your research project code in ULab. This will allow them to book and use the equipment on your behalf during your research project.
If you need any support with booking equipment or accessing ULab, then please contact our dedicated ULab team at ULab@bath.ac.uk
