The following training courses are being held this quarter for Campus Services staff. Details of how to book are included below.

The following training courses are being held this quarter.

Speak to your manager before booking onto any of these courses so that cover can be arranged.

Reminders will be sent to the member of staff and their line manager.

For any cancellations within one week of the course taking place, please contact campus-services-training@bath.ac.uk.

Minimum numbers of six for any courses will apply (except for Food Safety Essentials), courses with lower numbers will be cancelled and advertised again in the following quarter.

Online and Moodle training

Food Allergy and Intolerance Developmental Grades 3+, Hospitality & Retail Online training from Food Standards Agency. Managing allergens, labelling, etc. Online
Bio Hygiene Chemical Use Essential for cleaning staff Covers safe use of Bio Hygiene products and COSHH Awareness Online
Reporting Food Safety Incidents Grades 3+ in Retail & Hospitality Reporting, immediate actions, responsibilities, and consequences Online
Reporting Accidents and Near Misses Recommended for all staff Importance of reporting, how to report Online
Asbestos Awareness All staff not doing UKATA or Duty to Manage Covers asbestos safety, prevention, and contamination Online
Manual Handling For staff who cannot attend classroom sessions Covers safe lifting, injury prevention Online
