Printing labels from Microsoft Word on a University-owned Windows computer

Learn how to print onto sheets of adhesive labels from Microsoft Word on a University-owned Windows desktop computer to a University printer.

  1. Select 'File' then 'Print'. Select 'Printer Properties'. A screenshot showing the printer properties
  2. On the ‘Layout’ tab, under ‘Print on Both Sides’, select 'None'. A screenshot showing the Print on both sides dropdown
  3. On the ‘Paper/Quality’ tab, under ‘Paper source’ select ‘Bypass tray(Labels)’. A screenshot showing the tray selection dropdown
  4. Select 'OK'.
  5. Select 'Print'.
  6. At a University printer, pull the Bypass Tray down from the right-hand side of the printer and place the labels face down in the tray.
  7. Log in to the printer and print your labels document.
